You Drive a Porsche
A Porsche is a precision machine, whether it is a weekend 911 or a daily Macan. It deserves care that matches how it was built.
You also deserve honesty about what it needs. Not a scary guess, and not work you did not ask for.
So we test the real cause, send the photos to your phone, and give you a written estimate before we start.
You always approve the work first. We got you.
Under the Hood
| Porsche issue we see | What we do about it |
|---|---|
| IMS bearing wear on older 996, 986, and early 997 models | The intermediate shaft bearing is a known weak point on these water-cooled engines. We inspect for signs of wear and give you an honest read on your options. |
| Bore scoring on some M96 and M97 flat-six engines | Scoring in the cylinder can cause a knock and oil use. We check compression and listen for the signs before recommending any major work. |
| Rear main seal and engine oil leaks | These engines can weep oil from the rear main seal and other gaskets. We clean the area, find the true source, and show you the photos first. |
| Coolant pipe and cooling system leaks on the Cayenne V8 | The plastic coolant pipes and fittings crack with heat and age. We pressure-test the system and tell you straight what is leaking. |
| Air-oil separator failure causing smoke | A failed AOS can pull oil into the intake and make it smoke. We test the system and replace the separator the correct way. |
| PDK and transmission fluid service | The PDK gearbox needs the right fluid service to shift right and last. We check the fluid condition and service it the correct way. |
| Suspension and brake wear on the Cayenne and Macan | These SUVs are heavy and work their brakes and suspension hard. We inspect the parts and show you what is actually worn. |
| Check engine light or rough running | We pull the codes, test the real cause, and send photos before we quote a thing. |

Plan on one to four days for most Porsche work. Day one we test and inspect and give you photos with a written estimate before we start. Porsche parts are often ordered in rather than sitting on a shelf here, so that can add a day and we will tell you when it does. Bigger jobs run about a week. Brakes are frequently same day. Walk-ins are fine for drop-offs, and we can usually get you in the same day or the next.
