You Drive a Kia
Kia went from a budget pick to one of the most trusted names on Oklahoma roads, and the Telluride and Sorento are big reasons why. When yours needs care, you want a shop that knows these engines and backs the work the way Kia stands behind its cars.
You want that same honesty from your repair shop. Not a part you don't need, and not a guessing game over a warning light.
So we keep it clear. We test the real cause, send the photos to your phone, and give you a written estimate before we start.
You'll hear the whole story before we lift a wrench. We got you.
Under the Hood
| Kia issue we see | What we do about it |
|---|---|
| Dual-clutch shudder or hesitation on the Forte, Soul, and Seltos | The 7-speed dual-clutch can feel rough at low speed, so we scan the transmission data, check the clutch, and give you an honest read before any work. |
| Timing and running concerns on the 3.8 Lambda V6 in the Telluride and Sorento | This V6 is a strong motor, so we scan for codes, check the timing components, and show you its real condition before we recommend a thing. |
| Oil use or engine knock on the 2.4 and 2.0 turbo | This engine, shared with Hyundai, had a documented issue on some Optima, Sportage, and Sorento years, so we check the oil, listen for knock, and give you a straight answer instead of a scare. |
| Carbon buildup on the Smartstream and GDI engines | Direct injection can leave deposits on the intake valves over the miles, so we scope it and only recommend a cleaning if your Sportage or K5 truly needs one. |
| Sliding door or power liftgate trouble on the Carnival and Sedona | We test the motors, latches, and wiring on the minivan to find the real fault instead of guessing at parts. |
| Rough running on the Gamma 1.6 in the Rio, Soul, and Seltos | We pull the codes, check the ignition and fuel side, and show you the real cause before we quote anything. |
| Wheel bearing hum or front-end clunk on the Sorento and Sportage | A growl that rises with speed or a clunk over bumps points to a bearing or a worn joint, so we road-test it and show you the worn part. |
| Check engine light or hesitation | We pull the codes, test the true cause, and send photos before we quote a thing. |

Quick Answers Before You Book
Not always. Some Forte, Soul, and Seltos models use a 7-speed dual-clutch that can feel rough in stop-and-go driving. We scan the data, check the clutch, and tell you honestly whether it needs a service or a repair.
Yes. We handle the wear items on your Niro or Sorento Hybrid, the brakes, tires, suspension, steering, A/C, 12-volt battery, and general diagnostics. Give us a call and we'll tell you what it needs.
Most likely, yes. We service Kia cars, SUVs, and minivans from 1996 and newer, from the Forte and Soul to the Sorento, Telluride, and Carnival.
It is one of the stronger engines Kia builds. We service it, check the timing and cooling side, and show you the photos so you know exactly where yours stands.
Yes. Most repairs carry our nationwide 2-year, 24,000-mile warranty, and most engine and transmission work carries 3 years or 100,000 miles. If something we fixed gives you trouble, we make it right.
Most Kia work runs one to four days. We start with testing and inspection, send you photos, and wait for you to approve a written estimate. Kia parts are common, so they show up day two or three and the job wraps day three or four. Engine work is closer to a week. Most brake jobs are finished the same day you drop off. Walk-ins are fine for drop-offs, and we can usually get you in the same day or the next.
